Role OverviewAcademic Success Coaches promote continued student engagement and serve as student advocates. They build relationships with students, provide resources to remove barriers to educational progress, and support the school's motto: "Relationships, Relevance, and Rigor."
What You Will Do
Identify and resolve barriers to student academic success, establish relationships with students, develop and lead professional development sessions, administer assessments, and manage student information to ensure academic progress.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience in social work, counseling, advising, academic guidance or related field
- Ability to collect, interpret, and synthesize information about a student's social history, community environment, family dynamics, economic differences, and significant crises
- Ability to work cooperatively as an interdisciplinary team member and devise an appropriate service plan for referred students and their families
- Ability to synthesize and interpret diagnostic and assessment data
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with community agencies, students, families, team members, and others
- Valid driver's license, up-to-date auto insurance, and good driving record
