Account Director

Our independent, woman-owned agency seeks an Account Director to lead key client relationships, agency profitability and team development. This leader will play a vital role in driving strategic direction, ensuring excellence across deliverables and fostering growth for the agency and for our clients.

What You Will Do

Serve as the senior strategic lead across accounts, primary contact for client partners at all levels — including senior stakeholders — and build strong, personal relationships. Lead annual planning for assigned clients, campaign planning and quarterly business reviews, translating client business objectives into clear strategic direction.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of agency experience managing integrated accounts
• Strong, motivational leadership style that inspires cross-functional teams and clients alike.
• Exceptional ability to balance creative ambition with strategic business priorities.
• Experience with cultivating/contributing to the development of brand and communications strategy.
• Proven track record of cultivating deep Director & VP client partnerships and growing global accounts.
• Experience managing account budgets, P&Ls, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Knowledge of media, production, and creative development, with a passion for food and agriculture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to internal and external audiences.
• Calmly navigate challenges and find solutions in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Slack; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AI tools and Google Analytics.
