Role Overview

The Account Examiner 2 position is located at the Toledo Service Office, where you will provide assistance to walk-in customers, respond to inquiries, and monitor coverage on business accounts. What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include providing assistance to walk-in customers, responding to written and telephone inquiries, monitoring and reviewing coverage on business accounts, and identifying and referring audits to the appropriate supervisor. You will also attend training and meetings as needed.

You will also need to have experience commensurate to the duties to be assigned.

Requirements

  • 24 months of experience in a position involving review and processing of claims, collections, billings, payments, or review of documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting guidelines, laws, or rules
  • 16 semester or 24 quarter hours in accounting
  • 12 months of experience in accounting or other fiscal/financial activity
  • 12 months of experience as Accountant/Examiner 1, 66111, with state government experience commensurate with duties to be assigned
