Requirements
- General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO State Insurance License
- 6 years as a group health insurance account executive OR combination of 4 years group health insurance account executive experience and 2 years’ experience in claims, customer service, managed health care experience in a role requiring self-direction, initiative, and decision making and analysis OR Bachelor degree and four years’ experience as a group health insurance account executive
- Thorough knowledge of managed care products (HMO, PPO), Funding Types (FI, ASO and TPA), processes and trends
- Experience with complex accounts
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Ability to travel
- Experience addressing customer needs, making sound decisions and building strong customer relations
- Experience analyzing reports and financial information; possess analytical and financial analysis skills
- Written and verbal communications skills; negation skills, and presentation skills
