Job Description
GEODIS is seeking an Account Executive to join their team. The Account Executive will be responsible for reaching and exceeding targeted revenue goals, building and maintaining account relationships, and growing profitability. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Freight Operations or Brokerage experience, a proven track record in cold calling and sales prospecting, and experience with TMS systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Freight Operations or Brokerage experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record in cold calling and sales prospecting in a business-to-business environment
  • Demonstrated experience in consultative and strategic sales
  • Third-party logistics (3PL) experience and familiarity with TMS systems
  • Proven freight pricing abilities including responding appropriately to changes in market conditions
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access, and Excel
