Requirements

  • ERP System knowledge; P21 a plus
  • Understand customer business priorities and processes
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with aligned customers and strategic suppliers
  • Receive incoming customer phone calls, emails, and other communications from their accounts
  • Support the GT Sales Engineers/National Account Manager by quoting product, entering orders and expediting orders on a timely basis
  • Identify and document opportunities for additional sales and then pursue those opportunities to a conclusion
  • Ability to read and work with BOM’s (bill of materials) and assembly drawings (prints)
  • Resolve quality issues, application issues, and customer complaints in a timely manner
  • Negotiate profitable pricing and other commercial issues and renegotiate as circumstances change
  • Document key activities in GT’s CRM system
  • Comply with all the requirements contained in GT’s Employee Handbook, Policy and Procedure Database, Quality Manual and Quality Policies
  • Continual focus and alignment to GT’s emphasis on self-development and continuous improvement
  • Develop into a subject matter expert on customer product applications and intensions
