Account Payable Supervisor

The Accounts Payable Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team, ensuring invoices, payments, reconciliations, and related transactions are processed accurately and timely. The role involves supervising the AP team, providing guidance and support, and escalating significant issues to the AP Manager. The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative, and hands-on accounting professional with strong Accounts Payable experience.

What You Will Do

The AP Supervisor will supervise the daily activities of Accounts Payable associates, including invoice entry, exception resolution, and payment processing. They will also assist with month-end close, internal controls, audits, and resolving escalated issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
• Previous experience providing team leadership, training, or supervision preferred
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, and general accounting principles
• Experience with invoice processing, payment processing, reconciliations, and vendor account management
• Accurate data entry and strong 10-key skills
• Strong general math skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor when interacting with vendors, employees, and internal business partners
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the AP Manager and broader Finance team
