Job Description
Benchling is seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join their Account Management team, focusing on Life Sciences companies. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners, managing renewals, and driving expansion within the product and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer engagement models and ability to identify new business opportunities. They work alongside Professional Services and Technical teams to enhance investment value.

Requirements

  • BS or M.Sc. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Bioengineering OR related field.
  • 2-4+ years of Account management, Customer Success, Renewal Management, Sales, Professional Services, or Consulting experience.
  • 2-4+ years commercial experience in negotiations using skills to handle contract discussions.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% based on customer needs.
