Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking an Environmental Engineer Level 1 to serve as an Accountable Manager (AM) for the Water System Capital Program (WSCP). The selected candidate will oversee project goals and milestones, manage consultants, and provide day-to-day guidance to subordinates. The position requires a "hands-on" project manager with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Valid New York State Professional Engineer License
  • Four years of full-time experience in environmental engineering
  • Master's degree in environmental engineering from an accredited college accepted as equivalent to one year of experience
  • At least one year of experience within the last three years as a major contributor or project leader on a complex project
