Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Level 1 to be an Accountable Manager (AM) for the Water System Capital Program (WSCP). The selected candidate will report to a Deputy Portfolio Manager and be responsible for the achievement of project goals and milestones, ensuring that all prepared schedules, reports, and work products conform to the scope of work.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of full-time, satisfactory experience in mechanical engineering work;
  • A valid New York State Professional Engineer’s License.
  • Current New York State registration as a Professional Engineer must be maintained for the duration of your employment.
  • A master's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the mechanical engineering experience required.
