Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking three Administrative Project Managers (NM) to be Accountable Managers (AM) for the Wastewater Capital Program (WWCP). The selected candidates will oversee and support the design and construction of WWCP projects, ensuring project goals and milestones are achieved, and Environmental Health & Safety is incorporated throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in planning, administering, or expediting of engineering design, and/or construction, or coordinating a very large engineering project, with 2 years in an administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory capacity.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with project staff, engineers/architects, inspectors, consultants, contractors, vendors, and external project stakeholders.
  • Possession of a motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York with no restrictions, which preclude the performance of an Accountable Manager work.
