Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking an Accountable Manager (AM) to oversee projects involving City-owned infrastructure at the Ashokan Reservoir. The selected candidate will manage design and construction contracts, ensure quality and safety, and develop strong partnering relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A valid New York State Professional Engineer License
  • Four years of full-time experience in environmental engineering
  • A master's degree in environmental engineering from an accredited college (accepted as equivalent to one year of experience)
  • At least one year of experience within the last three years as a major contributor or project leader on a complex project
  • Ability to work independently and analyze data
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of codes and standards
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
