Job Description
The Accountant will play a critical role in both general accounting and manufacturing cost accounting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across general ledger activities, supporting audits, leading cost analysis, and contributing to strategic financial decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with a focus on cost accounting, sales, margin, and operational performance.
  • Ability to proactively identify issues and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and at various organizational levels.
  • High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFs, charts) and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in the dynamic environment of a small company, where roles often blend responsibilities.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and meet legal compliance standards.
