Job Description
The main purpose of this position is examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, records and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles in order to modify and maintain agency accounting systems, prepare financial reports or statements and give fiscal advice to management.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by three credit hours in auditing.
  • Three years of experience examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, records and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Certified Public Accountant(CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) background.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Experience with ERP systems, and financial software like FMIS, Web Focus, or Portfol.
  • Experience in budget preparation, cost allocation, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance.
