Job Description
The Accountant/Examiner 2 position is an intermittent role at the Ohio Department of Commerce. The mission of the department is to promote prosperity by protecting what matters most. The Accountant/Examiner 2 will review liquor applications, perform data entry tasks, and assist permit holders with the online application process.

Requirements

  • 24 months of experience in a position involving review and processing of claims, collections, billings, payments, or review of documents for accuracy, completeness, and/or compliance with reporting guidelines, laws, or rules.
  • 16 semester or 24 quarter hours in accounting, or 12 months of experience in accounting or other fiscal/financial activity.
  • 12 months of experience as Accountant/Examiner 1, or equivalent experience commensurate with duties to be assigned.
