Job Description
Safety National is seeking an Accountant II, Financial Reporting to support the preparation and analysis of financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves executing journal entries, preparing analytical reports, and assisting in the month-end close process across multiple accounting bases. The ideal candidate will have 1 or more years of relevant accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, business management, business administration or a related field
  • 1 or more years of relevant accounting experience in accounting or the insurance industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and complete responsibilities within established deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and multitasking abilities
