Job Description
The Oklahoma Department of Commerce is seeking an Accountant II position. The role will be responsible for reconciling federal funds and processing requests for funds for sub-grantees in accordance with government regulations and Agency policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business (or 2 years of experience in accounting)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft (desirable)
  • Strong analytical, technical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to think and work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously
