Requirements

  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reports for analysis and/or tracking's in accordance to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
  • Assist the accounting team in preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Perform change initiatives via consolidations, streamlining, process improvements, and efficiency gains.
  • Contribute to close management system advancements.
  • Assist other departments, vendors, or customers in resolving accounting issues.
  • Apply company policies and procedures to assist other team members with daily questions and issues.
  • May provide work direction, technical assistance, and answer questions for less experienced accounting staff.
