Role Overview

PACE is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join the organization and team. The Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Controller and become an integral part of the accounting team.

What You Will Do

Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financials, reports and budgets according to schedule in timely manner. Assist with audits and yearly reports and schedules in timely manner. Verify and post and reconcile all transactions that are properly documented in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum two years experience as an accountant / bookkeeper.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with non-profits and MIP Fund Accounting is highly desirable
