Role OverviewThe Accountant will assist in the organization's responsibilities related to Labor Accounting, working within one of the locations in Irving, Texas, Redondo Beach, California, Falls Church, VA, or Bloomington, MN. The position requires a minimum of two days per week in one of these locations. The Accountant will review, process, and monitor labor transfers, partner with business stakeholders to resolve labor costing discrepancies, and serve as a liaison to the Payroll/Timekeeping department.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include reviewing and processing labor transfers, partnering with the ERP Timekeeping & Labor group to resolve issues, and serving as a trusted business partner to Sector Finance, Payroll, HR, and Timekeeping teams. The Accountant will also review and report daily batch error processing, monitor missing payroll postings, and adhere to and communicate labor accounting and auditing policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field of study
- Minimum of two years of professional, relevant experience or one year of professional, relevant experience with a Master's degree
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and understanding of basic accounting principles, process analysis, and evaluation
- Experience with ERPs (SAP)
- Proficiency using MS Suite Tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
