Role OverviewThe Accountant is responsible for maintaining a log of all journal entries and preparing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger. Responsible for reconciling all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Is responsible for the calculating and reconciling depreciation of all the fixed assets accounts. The Accountant is responsible for preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basis. Prepares annual work papers for year-end audits.
What You Will Do
Maintain a log of all journal entries, prepare journal entries in the general ledger, reconcile balance sheet accounts, calculate and reconcile depreciation of fixed assets, and prepare bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, working knowledge of Windows-based personal computers, and excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills. One or more years of hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience is preferred.
