Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team at American-Marsh Pumps. This position will support American-Marsh Pumps' accounting and financial reporting activities while also providing financial support to QuantumFlo.

What You Will Do

Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare monthly journal entries, support month-end close activities, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and reconcile cash and other assigned accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments and business units
