Job Description
The Babcock & Wilcox Company is seeking an Accounting Intern to join its Accounting & Finance team for a summer internship in Akron, Ohio. The internship will provide hands-on experience to current students pursuing careers in Accounting or Finance.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited two or four-year program
  • Working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • Complete core courses in financing and accounting, intermediate accounting and cost accounting, preferred
  • Current GPA of 3.0 or higher, preferred
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, preferred
  • Capacity to handle confidential information
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
