Role OverviewThe Accounting Intern will support the accounting and finance team by performing daily clerical tasks, assisting with financial record-keeping, and gaining hands-on experience with accounting procedures. This role is 100% in-office and reports to the facility on site in Syracuse, NY. The intern will assist the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial, or Tax teams with various tasks, provide support to the financial team for month-end and year-end closing activities, and prepare supporting documentation for audits and financial reporting.
What You Will Do
Primary duties and responsibilities include assisting with various tasks, providing support for month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing supporting documentation, organizing and filing financial documents, updating accounting database and reconciliations, performing account reconciliations, and supporting the Tax team in gathering and organizing financial data.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
