Job Description
The Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking multiple College Interns to work in our Audit Division. As an intern, you will gain hands on experience working with taxation professionals in a number of areas, connecting your classroom knowledge with real-world experience.

Requirements

  • Plans and conducts audits and refund investigations
  • Conducts office reviews of taxpayer returns, invoices, receipts, ledgers, etc.
  • Drafts audit remarks to support audit findings and/or refund recommendations
  • Provides education of Ohio tax law during the audit
  • Applies both codes to decision making within the audit on taxability, interest, penalty, etc.
