Job Description
KBW Financial has partnered with a rapidly growing organization based out of Worcester County, MA, to add an Accounting Manager to their team. The Accounting Manager will assist with process improvements, corporate accounting, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Oversee vendor payments, invoice processing, disbursement controls, cash forecasting, and bank reconciliations
  • Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and aging analysis
  • Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger integrity in compliance with GAAP standards and accounting policies
  • Support manufacturing-related accounting activities, including inventory tracking, cost of goods sold analysis, and production cost reporting
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements along with variance and performance analysis
  • Maintain compliance schedules and ensure timely completion of sales tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory filings
  • Coordinate with external accounting partners for tax filings, audits, and annual financial reviews
  • Drive initiatives to improve financial and operational processes through automation, standardization, and workflow optimization
  • Evaluate and implement accounting systems, tools, and integrations to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to improve cross-functional financial workflows and reporting processes
  • Develop financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support business decision-making and leadership visibility
  • Support the development of scalable financial infrastructure, including policies, controls, and documentation to enable company growth
  • Execute ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as assigned by the Controller
