Accounting Manager

Requirements

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll coordination, job costing, and general ledger
• Oversee job cost accounting and ensure accurate tracking of budgets, forecasts, and project profitability
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure job costing reconciles to the general ledger
• Support project managers with budgeting, cost analysis, and financial performance reporting
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and reporting requirements
• Coordinate audit preparation and support external audit requests
• Assist with forecasting, cash flow analysis, and budgeting
• Implement and maintain construction accounting systems
• Train, mentor, and develop accounting staff
