Role OverviewReporting to the Director and Principal, the Governmental Accounting Services Manager will lead and develop the team, oversee various client accounting services, ensure projects are completed on time, and strengthen client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.

Manage key components of multiple audit engagements, provide thoughtful leadership and insightful recommendations, perform a detailed review of higher-risk areas, build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client sponsors, and resolve complex problems.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of public accounting, consulting, professional services, or outsourced accounting firm experience
- 4+ years experience working with prepared financial statements or audits of local governmental entities
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with computerized accounting software and governmental ERP systems including QuickBooks, BS&A, MIP (Abila), MUNIS, MSI and Sage preferred
- CPA certification/CPA eligible preferred
- Audit or payroll tax experience is a plus
