Role OverviewThis position is primarily responsible for following detailed standardized procedures in performing accounting clerical operations. The role involves performing a variety of duties related to the accounting functions within the credit union.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include balancing data, researching and resolving member questions, verifying return totals, processing ACH files and exceptions, preparing and posting payrolls, and reconciling auto recon general ledger daily.

Requirements
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent in Accounting, or Finance from two-year College or technical school
- six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- knowledge of Internet Software, Spreadsheet Software (Excel), Word Processing Software (Word), and Electronic Mail Software (Outlook)
- one year of full-time experience in accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- maintaining working knowledge of various accounting software programs
