Accounting Specialist

Requirements

• Inputs general ledger entries for account changes in a timely manner.
• Develops and maintains reconciliations and files on asset and liability account balances.
• Ensures accurate balancing from a corporate perspective from our financial centers.
• Develops and maintains regular reports via the company’s accounting system.
• Serves as a liaison between the corporate office and the company's multiple field offices (CTCs).
• Researches and responds to all management inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Maintains financial security by following internal accounting procedures.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Assists with bank and cash daily and monthly reconciliations, calculating accruals and posting journal entries, maintenance of fixed asset ledgers, and journal entry uploads.
• Completes ad hoc reporting and projects as determined by management.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
