Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. The Accounting Supervisor ensures the accurate recording, verifying, allocating, and posting of transactions according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and established policies and procedures.

What You Will Do

Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including filing, reviewing audits and post journal entries, statistical reports, prepare and distribute daily revenue reports, maintain records and documents, ensure all files are up-to-date, assist with month end process, prepare reconciliations, tax payments and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must obtain and maintain all necessary gaming licensing
• Must be able to interact with others and maintain and positive and professional demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions
• Must be able to meet all assigned deadlines
• Must have good analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Must be attentive to detail, results driven, a good problem solver and have the ability to make good decisions
• Must have patience, be approachable, a good listener, and able to motivate others
• Must be able to adapt quickly to any changes that may arise and be able to promptly find a resolution
• Must be proficient with Windows operating system and competent in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be able to pass an Excel test
• Must know 10-key
• Must be flexible with daily responsibilities and work schedule; able to work holidays, weekends and a 10 hour shift
