Job Description
KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a well-established organization in the Andover, MA area that is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, onsite, temp-to-hire opportunity offering strong exposure to Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions within a collaborative office environment.

Requirements

  • Process incoming and returned mail on a daily basis
  • Prepare and distribute daily cash sheets
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with balancing statements
  • Support Accounts Payable processing including commissions, invoice entry, verification, and mailing
  • Reissue checks as needed
  • Serve as a point of contact for agents and customers regarding commissions and check status (phone & email)
  • Maintain records in accordance with company retention policies
  • Complete daily task lists and assist with ad hoc projects as needed
  • Support overall department operations as required
