Role Overview

The Accounting Systems Director will lead teams responsible for overseeing the Oracle enterprise performance management (EPM) application and scheduling and running certain weekly and month-end Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) system processes. The Accounting Systems Director will also assist in cross-functional continual process improvement of business processes that involve technology usage and optimization.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Leadership & Team Development, System Processing Team, EPM, and other tasks such as maintaining prioritization and focus of teams, building teams, and identifying and implementing strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, accounting & finance, or directly related field
  • At least 10 years of corporate accounting, public accounting, ERP processing and administration, internal audit or other directly related experience
  • 5+ years managing teams, preferably managing managers with multiple direct reports
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Oracle Cloud ERP, Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Computing Professional (CPP) or similar designation, or master's degree
  • Ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Understands the integration of the people, processes and technology needed to implement change
  • High aptitude for managing and solving tactical issues
  • Relevant module experience in functional or technical working knowledge for modules/ areas within the thread
  • Experience supervising managers of people
