Job Description
Accounting Technician position at ODOC Headquarters in Salem, Oregon, for current ODOC and OCE employees only. Job rotation for up to 12 months with a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities include paying purchase orders, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience calculating, recording, and maintaining accounting information, including coding transactions and checking them for propriety, balancing, and resolving discrepancies in computer edits.
  • One year of experience calculating, recording, and maintaining accounting information, including coding transactions and checking them for propriety, balancing, and resolving discrepancies in computer edits, and at least 43 quarter (29 semester) credit hours from an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school that includes 9 quarter (6 semester) credit hours in accounting.
  • At least 94 quarter (62 semester) credit hours or an associate degree from an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school that includes 12 quarter (8 semester) credit hours in accounting.
