Role OverviewThe Production Worker primarily works in the outside production area of the AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility. The employee is responsible for the processing of cylinders (20 lb. barbeque grill cylinders). The employee must model a commitment to safety, demonstrate high professional and personal standards, and function effectively as a member of a production team. The employee will work in a fast-paced environment and be able to stand 8-10 hours per day.
What You Will Do
Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders. Maintain a safety focus at all times and wear the proper PPE. Ensure the consistent quality of cylinders are being processed. Load filled cylinders onto the truck(s) for the next day’s shipments.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of work experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions. The candidate must also be willing to grow and learn, have basic mechanical aptitude, and basic computer knowledge.
