Role Overview

The Acquisition Analyst will support Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics' (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office for Tactical Information Systems (PEO-TIS) Integrated Sensor Systems. The Analyst will collect and analyze metrics, develop program acquisition strategies, and support market research. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.

What You Will Do

The Acquisition Analyst will collect and analyze metrics, develop elements of program acquisition strategies, support market research, and prepare reports and briefings on program status. The Analyst will also support cost/benefit analysis, determine requirements, and develop goals and objectives to accomplish the mission of Program Support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite software, experience in fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex contracting problems, and the ability to develop concrete action plans to solve problems. The candidate should also have a working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System and the Defense Acquisition Framework process.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
  • DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency IAW the PWS (DAWIA level II equivalent) and in the Program Management career field
  • Bachelor's degree in acquisition/business, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in federal government acquisition projects
  • Experience in SpendPlan build development, market surveys, and writing technical evaluations
  • Experience with requirements development and execution
