Job Description
Assists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs for residents in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

  • Conducts assessments and gathers information to develop individualized recreation programs
  • Updates resident Recreation programs as needed to accommodate individual needs and preference
  • Works cooperatively with interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate plan of care
  • Schedules recreational activities to accommodate residents hours
  • Provides structured activities to meet the needs of cognitively impaired residents
  • Develops and implements effective procedures to ensure that all residents are informed about activities
