Role OverviewThe Activity Coordinator is responsible for assisting with organizing, scheduling, promoting, facilitating, and directing the activities and excursions for Traditions Memory Care in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.
What You Will Do
Assist the Memory Care Director in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the secured Traditions area. Promoting resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, the establishment of clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes and other such activities.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
- Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
