Role OverviewAs an Activity Leader, you'll help create a vibrant community where residents feel connected, valued, and engaged. You'll plan, organize, and lead a variety of social, recreational, physical, creative, and cognitive activities designed around the interests, abilities, and preferences of our residents.
What You Will Do
You'll plan and facilitate engaging activities for individuals and groups, encourage resident participation, create opportunities for socialization, and lead programs designed to support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.

Requirements
- Minimum 18 yrs. age required
- HS diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New York Driver's License and clean driving record required
- Ability to develop good relationships with staff, volunteers, families and visitors required
- Ability to inspire and motivate others, create a warm and accepting climate for residents and be able to adapt and modify activities to meet their needs required
- Understanding of the rights and needs of residents required
- Physical stamina for constant activity required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level required
