Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Leader to join our team at Orchard Brook Assisted Living Center in Orchard Park, New York.
What You Will Do
Assist the Activity Enrichment Director/Activity Director in developing and coordinating a variety of activities and programs that cater to the interests, values, and beliefs of our residents.

Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in gerontology or a related field, or equivalent experience in a long-term care setting
- Ability to organize, motivate, and implement programs with diverse personalities
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Ability to communicate with individuals with dementia
- Ability to empower interactive skills among program participants
- Ability to work on a team and be flexible
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds and sit/stand for long periods
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude
- Must like to have fun!
