Job Description
The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking an Activity Therapy Specialist 2 to plan, organize, and facilitate a comprehensive program of recreational, art, or music therapy for assigned units. The successful candidate will conduct therapy sessions, complete documentation, and work as a primary member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in music therapy or therapeutic recreation
  • Completion of internship or clinical practicum
  • Board certification by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) or national council on therapeutic recreation certification
  • 24 months of experience in activity therapy
