Job Description
Milliman's Seattle Health Practice is looking for an Actuary with extensive experience in Medicare Part D. The position requires creative actuarial capabilities, good communication and interpersonal skills, and organizational talents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
  • FSA designation
  • 5-10 years of healthcare actuarial experience
  • Three or more years of experience with Medicare Part D, including bid development
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage
  • Experience with commercial programs preferred, but not required
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Strong understanding of the US healthcare system
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, or R
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on client satisfaction
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Bid Certification
  • Experience with R and/or Python
  • Experience with PowerBI
