Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide exceptional care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Clements University Hospital (CUH) and Zale Lipshy Pavilion.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Master's degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board
  • Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing
  • Acute Care certification
  • Current applicable (ACLS) American Heart Association or American Red Cross Life Support certification(s)
  • Two years of experience in inpatient critical care or hospitalist medicine
  • Background in inpatient critical care or hospitalist medicine
