Job Description
Join our team in the Division of Endocrinology at UT Southwestern as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Provide inpatient care at Clements University Hospital and Zale Lispshy Hospital, and outpatient care in the clinic. Manage patients with type I and II diabetes, gestational diabetes, transplant patients, cystic fibrosis, and steroid or other drug induced hyperglycemia.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a master’s degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • OR Master’s degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program.
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification required.
  • Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing.
