Job Description
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine is looking for a provider to join their growing team! This provider will promote, provide, and maintain patient care under physician supervision and in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree Graduate of a Master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program OR Master’s degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification Upon Hire and Licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board Upon Hire and Current applicable American Heart Association Life Support certification(s) based on UT Southwestern policy for Advanced Practice Providers Upon Hire OR Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing. Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing. Acute Care certification.
