Job Description
Join our team in the Department of Otolaryngology at UT Southwestern as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to provide inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on patient-centered approach and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Master's degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program.
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board.
  • Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) required if Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current applicable Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association or American Red Cross Life Support certification(s)
