Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its Pulmonary MICU team. The successful candidate will work 100% inpatient on the CUH MICU service, admitting and transferring patients independently. They must possess the ability to recognize sick patients and urgency, properly evaluate problems, and generate a differential diagnosis. The role requires proficiency in technical/procedural skills and the ability to perform bedside procedures.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in nursing or ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current applicable Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • One year of critical care experience as an APP preferred
