Role Overview

The ADAS Calibration Technician is responsible for recalibrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and supporting modules in vehicles to restore them to OEM specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive diagnostic repair and the ability to work in an autobody repair shop environment. The technician must be able to communicate effectively with the field team and maintain excellent customer service through the company's core values.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the ADAS Calibration Technician include completing static and dynamic ADAS recalibrations per specifications, utilizing various tools for effective recalibration, and troubleshooting complex recalibrations. The technician must also test drive vehicles after recalibrations are completed and maintain a well-organized work area.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of experience in automotive repairs
  • Module programming, wiring repair, or ADAS recalibration experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of automotive diagnostic repair (preferred)
  • ASE or I-CAR certifications (preferred)
  • Ability to learn and understand collision repair processes and terminology
  • Successfully complete 360Align ADAS recalibration training
  • Understanding of technology & basic software programs
  • Ability to learn scan tools and factory software
  • Ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
  • Ability to work in an autobody repair shop environment
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused approach
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
  • Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, and walking
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
