Role Overview

Join the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC), AWS Commerce Platform team as a cleared Systems Development Engineer. Use the latest cloud computing technologies to help U.S. Government agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems. Work with a team of highly talented engineers to build and support Amazon’s billing systems in air-gapped cloud environments.

What You Will Do

Identify ineffective processes, perform root cause analysis, and resolve operational concerns. Collaborate with top engineers at Amazon to automate the remediation of operational issues. Work diligently to navigate public sector regulatory requirements with the scale of commercial cloud.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
  • 3+ years of systems administration (Linux or Windows) experience
  • Experience working with scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent
  • Experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
