Site Technologist position in Point Lay, Alaska. Responsibilities include technology maintenance, training, and support for the school district. Added duty compensation range and meeting responsibilities. High school graduate or equivalent required.

Requirements

  • 1) Assure that all computer/internet users have signed staff and student technology use agreements
  • 2) Provide on-site maintenance for all computers, printers, scanners, and site technology infrastructure
  • 3) Participate in district-wide videoconferences
  • 4) Maintain familiarity with NSBSD network applications and train others
  • 5) Train new staff in Video Conferencing equipment, LCD projectors, SMART Boards, scanners, and peripherals
  • 6) Inventory all computers and peripherals at the end of the year
  • 7) Send computers in need of repair to InfoTech
  • 8) Turn in Activity Report and attach photos (if any)
